There’s no doubt about it – exercising is tough. However, in order to reach our weight loss goals, exercise is an essential piece of the puzzle. Going to the gym to get in a good workout can sometimes not go as planned, and luckily for us, many of these little fitness mishaps are caught on tape so we can get a good laugh at them later. I’ve compiled 10 of the funniest videos that YouTube has to offer relating to exercise failures, gym mishaps, and weight loss don’ts.

We’ve all heard hundreds – or even thousands – of tips about how to workout the “right way”, but I thought I’d take a look at it from a different perspective – How NOT to work-out. Here are some hilarious examples of exercising gone bad!

    Ugh…these videos are gut-wrenching. I can’t imagine the amount of down time spent while serious injuries were healing.
    It goes to show that you should not attempt any exercise program before consulting with your doctor…but also how extremely important it is to consult with a professional before attempting to use any new exercise equipment to get proper training on their correct use.
    The injuries that occurred could definitely have been prevented.
